First and foremost: Complete the first two campaign missions to unlock the Safehouse. This shouldn’t take you long and is pretty easy to do.
Unlocking the Safehouse gives you access to the Data Vault computer, which is cool enough on its own but hides Dead Ops 2 within its interface.
Once you open up the Data Vault, make your way to the circular 2-shaped icon at the top left of the screen.
Dead Ops 2 will launch once you’ve pressed this icon.
And before you’re surprised or disappointed: First person mode is not the default in Dead Ops 2, as many thought before Black Ops 3 came out. Instead it’s a power up.
